Derek Teague Band / Press

“In our estimation the DEREK TEAGUE BAND is so eloquent in their story telling that we were left hoping their songs wouldn't end. It isn't often that we see bands who are so disciplined in the practice of good song writing. We were also excited to see the magic of Radiostar Studios at work with the collaboration of Wolve's violinist Rachael Aquilina on their single "Stay." It was pure creative brilliance at work on the part of two very different bands working in unison. ”

“Midnight Rodeo is one of the largest venues in the Concho Valley, and the bands are hoping to draw a standing-room-only crowd. Teague’s band likes to make the Toys for Tots show an annual event. He said the bands aren’t concerned about lining their pockets with money; they just want to make the Christmas holidays special for children who otherwise might not be so fortunate. “At the same time, we’re making sure that everybody’s having a good time while they’re helping out, too.” DTB's drummer Jimmy Shanks, agrees with that assessment. “It’s always nice to do a benefit, but the Toys for Tots (show) is always nice because we kind of see how it really reaches out to the community. I know some of the Marines who are involved in it. We’re always up for any kind of a benefit. The Derek Teague Band recently returned from Northern California, where the four-piece group recorded its first EP. ”
