While we were kids we used to spend all day with the bikes and skates or just dancing some rough break dance in the neighborhood.
Much later, by the end of the year 2006, we got together again but this time for composing and producing music.
After 6 months from that time, we finished our first work titled “the wig”.
This album is filled with deep house ambients, most of them mixed with Diogo’s guitars, sometimes jazzy, sometimes funky, or simply with some African rhythms.
On the command of the electronics there is Fernando, with much experience in that area.
He’s also very sensitive about the organic parts involved in the project.
One good thing about this work is that although it can bring some deepest emotions, it can also transmit some very good vibrations.

I started my studies on guitar when I was 16. It was the year of 1989.
After studying with first my teacher, Paulo Matias, for 3 years, or more, I passed for some places, either classical or jazz schools, and did specific studies on jazz guitar with guitarist and composer Eddy Goltz.
Besides Lisbon, in the school Hot Club Portugal, i’ve been in Barcelona, more precisely, in “Taller de Musics” (1992), where I bought my first electric guitar, an Epiphone. And London, for a BA jazz course in the University of Middlesex (1999-2000). Both experiences were very grateful in terms of getting in touch with other cultures and musicians.
Today, I do my own classes in music schools and with private students.
The bands I’ve been working until now are mostly like soul and funk sound. Altough I never had a “pure” jazz band, one of my aims, professionaly speaking, is to mix this style with others, and so, I’ve been gratefully working with african, portuguese and brazilian musicians, among others. I think that one of my most important projects were Groove Brothers.
Related to music, I did some works as sound-technician. I also compose and I’m getting started in music production.
Two years ago I found a project, Deeper String, with Fernando Campos. It has been a quite chalenge to work with electronics. You can imagine why!
Born in 1973, in Lisbon, Portugal, I hope to continue giving my music for a long, long time. Hope you like it!

Fernando starts with music as a drummer in the final of the 80's in a rock band called FP-25.
Two years later, he get’s a new rock band called Infracção Penalizada where he was the bass player for 4 years.
With the death of one of is idol’s (Kurt Cobain from Nirvana), he felt that was the time for changing is way of seeing and making music, he starts to hanging around in other type of night clubs, parties, open air parties, and the type of music of this spaces was a big influence to the begining of his voyage into to the Electronic World.
In 1995 he starts to dj-ing with artistic name (DIGITAL) Noise.
In 2002 he starts producing Dance Music with DJ Paulo Leite. The purpose of Shuffle Progression was to create new themes in an ecletical way, with styles ranging from progressive house to chill out and passing by others, such as deep house, lounge and break beat.
In 2004, Fernando got into a new project with DJ Paulo Leite and DJ Daveed. This project named T.T.S. – The Three Stooges, has released its first track in 2006 for Stereo Recordings / Tribo from Spain.
In 2005, he starts his own project called Funky-F Project. His solo carrer has been growing up, and he already released 3 maxi-singles for HMSP Music Group from United States Of America.
In 2006, he combines efforts with a remarkable guitarist called Diogo Santos and together they created the project Deeper String.
