National Hotel 195 Moorabool Street, Geelong, VIC 3220 -------------------------- Decrepit Sun have been described as thrash/death/melodic/groove metal band. While their music offers a raw and unique epitome of these styles, the sheer diversity and texture of their influence proves to create much more. Sardonic, sexually charged vocals. Blasting, razor-precise drums. Pummelling, polyrhythmic bass grooves. Tight, aggressive guitar with twisted intertwining melody and lead. Hybrid Nightmares brings the new terror to the National Hotel in Geelong. For the first time ever, as part of their “Long March North” mini-tour, they are ready to assault Geelong with their unique style of metal. Hailing from Geelong, Victoria and formed in early 2010, Athenas Wake have been pushing the boundaries within their local scene with their punishing blend of black metal and modern death metal. Known for their chaotic live show and energetic performance, Athenas Wake aim to leave every venue with an impression that will bring new fans to their blend of extreme metal. Opening the evening are Melbourne metal monsters Mason.
