Brutal Death Metal band Decaying Purity was established in 2005 in Istanbul/Turkey. Mustafa Gurcalioglu (guitars) and Onur Gazioglu (drums) who played together before in another band founded the bases of this new band and started immediately to write songs and orderly studio works. The band was influenced by USA Death-Grind Sound and USA Sounded European Brutal Death Metal. After previous changes of members, Malik Camlica (bass) was added to the band. The band it passed the summer of 2006 in writing songs kept searching for a vocal. After different searches Serkan Niron was added in to the band.

After solving staff problem, in their studio work, the band recorded 3 songs and published a limited amount of "Rehearsal Promo 2006". It received very good reaction from all death metal scenes, and, many underground distros and labels were interested in the recordings. After the demo, the band which took part in many organizations received excellent critics continued without stopping to work on the debut album and to write new songs.

In Sep, 2007, the band started recording the full length album of "Phases of Dimensional Torture" at the Turquoise Studios in Istanbul. It took about 2 months. For the artwork design the band worked with Jon Zig (Disgorge, Suffocation, Deeds Of Flesh, Severed Savior, Gorgasm... and many more). So the band has been signed with Grotesque Productions from Spain for between Jan, 2008 and Apr, 2009.

After releasing first album, band started to make new songs for second one. For more powerful sound and better quality music, at last, in 2009, the band added Alper Karahan (lead guitars), so, the ideal staff was formed.

Now, Decaying Purity is one of the well known death metal band of inside and outside of Turkey.
