Dead SuperStar is an intense melodic New york based band.  Founded by bassist Troi Mosby and Vocalist Terence Kieth(formerly of  Perseverance) in early 2005. Their persistence and drive to create a sound that would heat up the airwaves was matched by drummer Jared Feldman (formerly of Gone Again and Torn) who joined the band in October 2006, after a chance meeting at a rock club in New York.

Terence and Troi had toured the US with their previous band Perseverance, hitting the road with bands like Biohazard, Hatebreed, 25 ta Life, Flaw and many others. Their taste of heavy rock success ignited a fire in them to create a hard rock sound that's heavy enough to please the hardest headbanger, but rocking enough to crossover to the masses.

     Dead Superstar began writing songs and rehearsing in late 2006, and by 2007 had begun to craft a hard rock sound that was heavy, melodic and packed with controversial lyrics about the human condition.  DSS is a band with a message. Their music is a voice that must be heard. That voice was honed in 2007. Dozens of overnight jam sessions were held and the band put its blood sweat and tears into its first songs.

     In late 2008, after deciding to keep 6 the best of songs from those sessions, Dead Superstar got an injection of new blood when guitarist Evan Pomeranz joined the band.  The band's 's lineup was complete and they finished writing their debut record in the winter of 2009, with Pomeranz's heavy crunchy riffs rounding out the sound.

     In the spring of 2009, under the guidance of producer Joey Z (Life of Agony) the band went into Method Of Groove Studios to record "Tribulations", their debut album. Packed with 11 pounding melodic hard rock anthems, "Tribulations" by Dead Superstar is ready to be released to the world.  Powerful vocals, blistering guitars, thundering bass and rocking drums produce the huge sound DSS has been crafting for years.

     The lyrics of Trend's songs are universal, but speak to many aspects of man's place in the world. In an uncertain future, Dead Superstar has the sound people cling to.  The band plans to deliver their music and their message to the masses, touching as many lives as possible in the process.
