Variety is the spice of life and this Saturday’s line-up is spicier than a vindaloo: Elvina (folk/pop) Elvina is the musical project of Sydney-born singer-songwriter Jolanda Moyle. Her incandescent album So We Can Grow is akin to Joanna Newsom, PJ Harvey and Mum. On Jolanda’s debut at The Chandelier Room she will be accompanied by Peter Woodlands on double bass. Kurtis Gentle (blues/roots/reggae) With the anticipation of the release of his debut album Barefoot Freedom at fever pitch, Kurtis Gentle is back at The Chandelier Room to knock your socks off with his soulful tunes and dizzying 12-string guitar playing. DC Cardwell (indie/pop/rock) Chandelier Room favourite DC Cardwell is back! DC’s simple yet delicately crafted melodies, coupled with a blend of poignant and witty lyrics, conjure subtle reminders of the best of ’60s and ’70s rock fused with DC’s own infectious hooks and heart-warming style. This is pop songwriting at its best. Cost: $10 Pre-book seating HERE Ticketing Link: www.trybooking.com/BROD
