Dayve Dean is a singer/songwriter based in Cheshire, UK.

 

2008 saw the release of his new album, Octagon, launched with a three week run of shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as a full band gig at Orchard Studios (where part of the album was recorded) and more intimate acoustic gigs along with Dan Logan for Oxjam in a couple of Oxfam shops. Octagon is available now from www.dayve.co.uk.

Produced by Nigel Stonier, the majority of the album was recorded at The Loft in Liverpool and features backing vocals from Thea Gilmore.

Still Life

In 2000 he recorded his debut album Still Life which contained thoughtful, mainly guitar based folk/pop with elements of dance music, taking inspiration from artists such as Crowded House, REM and Aimee Mann. It was produced by Nigel Stonier.
