Q: Were you guys fans of Robert Pollard and Guided by Voices? Who would you say your biggest vocal influence was?

A: I definitely have great appreciation for Robert Pollard and GBV. If I was forced to pick a favorite GBV tune at gun point, I would go with "Liquid Indian". There have been so many influences, that it's hard to list just one or two, but going deep into the vault, I think Echo and the Bunnymen and Chameleons UK would have to be as big as any. Strictly on a vocal level...Ian McCulloch, Jim Morrison, David Byrne, Ric Ocasek to name a few. I like quirky, emotive singers. Thank you for the question Seed Sander :) ~ David
