“Now, Lowery is focusing on her original music by getting back into the studio this week to begin recording her second EP. Then, Lowery plans to mesh the first EP and the new one into a full-length album. After that, she may even put together a live album. Lowery always incorporates her original songs into her set. Some of them can be heard on www.reverbnation.com. People don't know the difference (between covers and my originals) because half the time they don't know any of the songs anyway," Lowery said. "Unless I play Eric Clapton or Melissa Etheridge, then they know. Sometimes when I do cover songs they don't even know it's a song that they know until I hit one of the lyrics and the chorus, because when I do it, I don't ever play the way that it's meant to be played, I guess. I play it the way that I feel like playing it."”
