Dani started out in the music industry as a young 17 year old battling it out in auditions for a chance at being a professional singer. She never had any vocal training and didnt attend any stage schools so Dani's talent is what we like to call RAW talent. After being accepted into a PoP R/n/B girl group back in 1999, Dani became a member of what was to be an excpetional high calibre vocal group. Being managed by an ex senior A&R of EMI who had just started off his own company,Dani spent the next following year developing an album and image ready for the debut release.

Throughout this process the band lost a group member through music differences and was searchng frantically for another perfect candidate.Luckily the 3rd member joined just in time to start promoting the debut single. The track which was Pop..R/n/B..Garage...was put out on white label having sold over 5 thousand copies through HMV music store in the UK in the first week. The group then went onto to promote through T.V by appearing for 8 weeks on Live&Kicking UK'S top children's show,following the girls around in a "life in the day of" experience. This created alot of public attention and was perfect to create the right kind of hype around such a high calibre vocal group.
The group was then asked to perform at Wembley Arena for Diwali star, which inspired and influenced Dani to have the confidence and determination to achieve her dream. The performance was such a success they flew to America to record more material for their album. Dani and the girls flew to Atlanta Georgia where they worked with Dallas Austins production team at D.A.R.P Studio,recording an amazing well produced track. The producer Jasper Cameron who has produced for TLC and Christina Aguiliera,loved their writing skills so much he introduced them to the backing vocalist for TLC Deborah K. They also recorded more material with Rico Lumpkins who produced for TLC FANMAIL, and more tracks with House of Tre, the musicians for Alecia Keys, hoping this exceptional material would be recognised for its worth when they arrived back home.
The girls, after gruelling weeks of showcases, became signed to an independant record label who were in partnership with Death Row Records. Unfortunately after a few months of magazine promotions the independant label went bankrupt and Dani's dreams came crumbling down along with it. A group member left and eventually Dani knew that it was time to go solo and make a go of it her way with her sound. It took Dani some time to get back into the scene, after spending 2 years away from the industry. After all the thinking,observing the scene from afar and learning her craft.. Miss DANI CLAY was created.
For the last 17 months DANI has been recording an album that has an important message behind each of her tracks. Passion,determination,conviction,power, strength is all over it. But most of all HUNGER, which is what is missing from alot of popular music today. It's a sound that holds itself outside the box. Her writing ability has gained interest throughout the industry,and her vocal strength is definately going to knock everyone of their seats when they hear it.
Dani has a foundation sound of funk,through her gritty vocals and powerful range she kicks arse,her tracks range from funky-soul, funky-rock, Soul-r/n/b. Receiving advice and support from the Entertainment company House of Dreams, Dani has been given the tools and a gifted team to express herself freely and creatively collect a sound that is an outstanding and remarkable master piece..UK Music producer Duvall has given Dani Clay a sound like no other.
Her confidence,warm personality and determination will gain her millions of fans and a successful career for years to come.
Dani will be promoting her material from February 2008, with tracks that will put British music upto par with the rest of the world. Resetting the UK music scene to a quality of sounds and vocal standards, that no manufactured ingredients could easily cut.
