Dan Hemphill

Grew up in Quincy, Il.  Son of Donald and Grace Hemphill.

1975 At age 13, Dan got his first guitar. and started his first band "Blast Off" with some school friends.

And with his friends was writing on the average of 3 songs each day. ( ' I just wanted to say good-bye ' , ' Earth People ' , ).

1979 Dan,  Joined the U.S.A.F.

1st. duty assignment was Yokota AB. JAPAN

When he met Mark A. Morton and formed the Duet   "MORHEMP"

They was the house band at the 49 Club, in Fussa,  Japan.

Thay also was Special Guest of  "HomeGrown" a japanesse Blue Grass Band, Managed by (Mune) Munaharu Urakami.

 now  he is curently working on breaking his 30 + years of songs down into Cd collections.
