Across the Pond will perform 7-10pm. Join us at Reid's newest Gettysburg location!
Mike & Dan will represent Across the Pond and be joined by at least one special guest. Celebrate the history of distilling and talk shop with local folks who make their own beer, wine, and spirits at the Dill's Tavern on September 6th from noon to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy demonstrations and seminars, live music, beer sampling, and the companionship of a local tavern. A competition will be held lauding the beverages and also the competitor with the best historical documentation behind his creation. There will be at least one band, fresh cigars made with the Tavern's own garden tobacco, food concessions, raffles, tours of the tavern, re-enactors, trade demonstrations (blacksmithing, wood turning, rifle making), steam tractor rides, and more. Historical dress is encouraged. Guests must be 21 or older. Check back for admission rates. All money goes toward construction of the new Dill's Tavern Distillery, which NYCHAPS hopes to turn into a fully functional Rye whiskey distillery, maybe in 2014. Join us and be part of history!
