The Mission of the West Coast Reggae Caribbean Music Awards (WRCMA) is to celebrate, promote and recognize Caribbean, Canadian and African Music and Community Achievers in the Western British Columbian community. The WRCMA Society (West Coast Reggae Caribbean Music Award Society) was created as a registered non-profit society, formed to oversee this inaugural event – Vancouver’s First, British Columbia’s Best, and Western Canada’s Premier Award Showcase. On Saturday, March 19, 2011, Stronger Than Before Productions will be pleased to present the first West Coast Reggae Caribbean Music Awards program in Vancouver, at the Diamond Banquet Hall, 7845 Edmonds, Burnaby, B.C.

Known as THE "ARMAGIDEON MAN" after his hit, "Armagideon Time" (‘A Lot of People Won’t get no supper tonight, A Lot of People going to suffer tonight..” ) which was first recorded in 1978 at Studio One in Kingston. The song was covered by The Clash as the flipside of their "London Calling" single. In 2007, the rock band Government Mule adapted and recorded Williams’ composition “Natty With A Cause” as “Rebel With A Cause,” which features Williams’ voice along with that of Government Mule singer Warren Haynes. Wiliams continues to strive with great works in the music industry and media including recent works on a documentary with CBC.
