Da Bluez Preacher

Hello, my name is Ray Confer, stage name "Da Bluez Preacher". I play a solo act of blues and gospel blues but with a little twist. I do whats called live looping", in which I create the song as I play it live using a foot controlled loop pedal and layering all my guitar parts with bass and kick drum all in real time. I also have a big chunk of my musical career in the the virtual world of Second Life. This is a program that connects you to a virtual 3d world where anything is possible, including playing live music to a huge demographic. Second Life has about 3 million members with about 100,000 to 500,000 memebers on at any given time or hour. 200 plus countries are represented and this makes for a large demographic fan base. I have over 170 members in my fan club and they range from countries like Germany,Australia,Uk and USA. It may seem confusing to understand at first but I do play live concerts in there via my computer and internet to anyone in Second Life that wants to come hear. Its all done in real time so i can take requests and do meet and greets as well. You can see one of the clubs I play for in my fan section , the club is called MJs. Ive included some pictures of myself in this virtual universe. Lets not forget the real world as well, I play various clubs and cafes up here in the northeast including Maine and Massachusettes and the southern state of Florida.
