“Local scene worthy of Jack’s memory: It’s fitting in the no-degrees-of-separation world of London’s music community that choral leader Ken Fleet, honoured as the 2013 Dennis Brown Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, has his own Dixie Flyers memories. Fleet recalls being a Dixie Flyers fan at the old York Hotel in downtown London when the band was young and he was a Western music student. Also performing through having spots on the ballot on Sunday night are fan favourite nominees Metro4, blues guitarist and singer Rick Taylor, 94.9 CHRW local album of the year winners The Allens, metal’s D3ATHCHARG3R and a teaming of hip-hop and club DJ ballot categories with Keno, Jay Downz and DJ Ruckus.”

"London Ontario’s D3ATHCHARG3R is quickly bursting through the ranks of local metal acts with their bludgeoning drumbeats, high-flying guitar work, rip-roaring riffs, and raw vocals. The band manages to combine the attitude of old school eighties thrash metal with the intensity of modern melodic death metal"

“I have to say I enjoyed the whole CD! I highly recommend that the readers go out to the show, and at the very least, pick up a copy of Forged in Steel for themselves!”
