SPECTRUM It was billed as the finest gay bar in Florida and it trotted out the hottest of disco talent on the circuit including Grace Jones on her Taste of Grace tour making diva demands of white orchids and white powder delivered to her dressing room before she enthralled the crowds. And it was crowded ! Twenty five cent cocktails spillin over to the grunts and thrusts of Donna Summer and the Weather Girls open seven days a week propelling sin and debauchery and a Filthiest Person contest that did not disappoint .Poppers were poppin and there was always gravy for your disco buscuitts. It was the 70's pushin on the 80's and everybody was your friend at least for the night! Well guess what? Its happenin again! This time with better hair (products) starting August 24th the Spectrum Retro Night comes alive with the sound of disco music and diva demands! After all we love the nightlife and we love the Spectrum!
