Dave Woodward aka Countrydave lives on a sailboat and goes where the wind dictates. Currently in Cape Verde Islands
Influences come from a very eclectic mix depending on mood and situation from early blues, Captain Beefheart, Johnny Cash, Dylan, Townes van Zandt, Gillian Welch, John Prine and many more.
Just recorded an album of 8 songs, 4 of mine and 4 covers in Le Studio, Mindelo, Cape Verde Islands... This place is something else.......
