“Detroit based Chrome Mollie provided direct support for Corabi on this night. Delivering a kick to your face rock and roll show that gets your fists pumping and feet stomping, these veterans of the Detroit/Flint music scene have been making waves for years on the local and regional circuits. Delivering a one-two punch of ass kicking Detroit style rock that epitomizes the essence of this hard working and gritty city, Chrome Mollie takes no quarter when hitting the stage. They might have been playing a smaller club but their stage presence is big enough to make you feel like you’re at an arena show with some of the biggest names in concert history. Check them out and support local acts!”

“...yielding pints of Jack Daniels and electric guitars, carry the flickering torch of rock ‘n’ roll as it was meant to be – loud, raw, guttural. This band is Chrome Mollie from Flint, Michigan. Their brand of simple, hard-hitting rock has struck a chord with music fans who find the deficiency of masculinity in the current era as disturbing as they do. So they fight back the only way they can, bringing rowdy music directly to the rowdy people who need it. On stage and online, Chrome Mollie has gained a dedicated following who find solace in their no nonsense, 80’s inspired, power rock in this great time of need”

“MAY 1, 2013 - The polls have closed for ROCKWIRED.COM's recent ARTIST OF THE MONTH campaign. Voters from all over the U.S. made their vote count and the band CHROME MOLLIE is ROCKWIRED.COM's newest ARTIST OF THE MONTH. As a country, we're still in the midst of a shaky eonomy and right now tensions are rising along the Korean Penninsula. We here at ROCKWIRED couldn;t think of a better time to crank up the rock and roll and party like it's 1989. Yes, that is exactly what you get when you listen to CHROME MOLLIE - more bang for the ninety cents that you're gonna spend downloading track after track from the band hailing form Detroit Rock City.”

“The first song entitled “Sumpthin’ You Need” has such a classic rock sound to it you’re going to swear you’ve heard it before. I actually had to verify that it was not a cover song. Chrome Mollie’s influence by the old school heavy guitar sound in rock music like Bon Jovi and Tesla from back in the 1980’s comes through loud and clear in every song. The next song entitled “Your Love” has a very strong classic 80’s sound. It sounds like something Jon Bon Jovi would have recorded back then. “Mama Never Raised (No Silly Fool)” is a simple little song that sticks to Chrome Mollie’s sound but is more fun to listen to and is reminiscence of rock music even further back than the 80’s due to the fun chorus lyrics. The fourth song entitled “Dreams” is a slower classic, romantic acoustic rock ballad about dreaming of the one you want. This song sounds like a John Cougar Mellencamp ditty if I’ve ever heard one, but could just as easily have been performed by Savi”

“I must say my head is still buzzing from yet another Chrome Mollie invasion last saturday with Kip Winger...Fenton Michigan is in for a kick ass rock n roll show this saturday...and i must add, my husband who is the biggest music snob on the planet...even put on his twitter page, that he has never been impressed with any local detoit rock bands ever...snob! however he said he loved seeing Chrome Mollie, had a great time, and thinks, and i quote..."It shows, when people are rocking out and loving every minute of it, what a really good band is all about... ”

“My thoughts on the Chrome Mollie aftermath...They came out BLAZING HOT.. Eddie Golatka (drums) reminds me of a tied-up octopuss fighting to stay alive..For a moment I thought he had 6 arms. Danny Justice(guitar) I am convinced that he could jam while being shuttled into space-Amazing. Dave Stroud(bass) fantastic talent and the ladies love em..Tim Smith on vocals-I swear I thought i was watching Lynard Skynard the whole night!!Great pipes.. Actually- I would like to see a Skynyrd tune or 2... All in all- ONE HELL OF A PERFORMANCE..... ”
