Bio
Chester Brown is based out of Chesterton, IN. A close 45 min. from Chicago, IL. They have played well over 1300 shows in 9 years ranging from California to Cleveland. They have introduced 60 originals in that time as well as a barage of covers. They Have 1 album released in 2007 and 2 more on the way. This is a live band that prides itself on original music, but loves and respects the music that inspired them to pick up an instrument in the first place.
About
Chester Brown has a big local following. They have been a band for nine years. Dominic(bass/vocals) and Tim(Guitar/vocals) have been playing together for close to 12 years. Nate(keys/vocals) tims brother, has been with the band for nine years. Mike(guitar) joined the band in 2006 and Kevin(drummer) is a newbie and the sixth drummer Chester Brown has had. Chester Brown has played an estimated 250 cover songs with the main influences being Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, and Phish. The band has weened themselves off the cover train gradually in the last 4 years. A typical show of 2- 2 hour sets will see only 4 covers on average. This is possible due to the 60 + originals they have. Chester Brown loves their fans and will often extend there shows if possible, having played till dusk on several occassions.
