Bio

CHANT sounds like STOMP drumming for NIN, ancient tribes backing DJ Tiesto, and the pounding, relentless live shows delivered by creator Bradley Bills have gained a reputation for leaving witnesses moved and elated! A refined view of performance art, CHANT fuses live explosive drumming and growling vocals with an electronic showcase of industrial influenced mayhem – it’s the beats, the hooks, the energy that continues to intrigue an ever growing fan base.

About

Post the release of his independent CD/DVD combo CHANT: Beginnings (Engineered by Jeffery D. PinkusButthole Surfers) and non-stop touring throughout 2004 – 2006, CHANT continued to make waves while landing opening slots for Pigface - Attrition - Combichrist - The Genitortures - My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult - God Module and more!

2007 saw the release of CHANTs first full-length debut: That Which Divides. Recorded by Martin Atkins (Pigface/Ministry/PIL) and co-produced by Mark Dufour (Skrew/The Skatenigs), the end result is an infectious collection of heart pounding industrial-electro tracks and slamming tribal passages, which paved the way for continued touring coast to coast, a slot on the LE CARNIVAL/NooMoon stage at the 2008 Voodoo Music Festival, and future music distribution through the upcoming record label EDM, launched by Joshua Bradford and Clayton Worbeck of RevCo!

Look for new video, remix, and sound-design productions in 2009 and catch these live shows NOW!

...another Friday, another great show at the Elysium. Bradley and his project Chant never fails to amaze. It's like lifting weights all day or good, long, marathon sex: it's lots of fun, but tires you out! I guess the secret to good music, is just put your heart and soul into it.
--Mr. Joe Lifto: Jim Rose Circus - Austin Rank and Review – May '04

I caught CHANT at Sanctuary in San Antonio recently... Nothing prepared us for the power that rolled as Bradley took the stage and the room erupted into a maelstrom of hard drumbeats. The electronic music slipped easily from Tribal to Industrial to an almost Synth Pop sound. With the audience completely entranced by his dynamic performance, the energy of a CHANT show is aggressive, emotional, and moving.
