“And of course, then came the wildly anticipated Cambion. The small venue exploded with excitement as the next big thing appeared on stage. All around were excited cheers and the blur of heads as they moved to the music. I had seen Cambion once before, the previous year, and I can say they've definitely improved. The atmosphere was one I was proud to be a part of. A favourite would be hard to place but I greatly enjoyed “Salem” and “Jester”. When it comes to music, I'm a sucker for a strong intro with a powerful sound. This is something Cambion deliver for me. When asked for their opinions satisfied audience members stated “It was an awesome night!” and “I'm gonna' be wrecked tomorrow but it was so worth it!” The Cavern definitely delivered an excellent night for their metal fans. Even though it is quite heavy and venomous for the most part, there are some acoustic breaks with the occasional solo, and clean vocals that invade and complement the songs. The music of Cambion is ultimately not very difficult to assimilate, it is instantaneous and direct, and it manages to catch the listener off guard right off the bat, throwing unexpected riffs that come out of nowhere.
