About
Longer BIO:
Brooke Lundy has over 20 years of professional performance experience in New York and Los Angeles, Nashville and Atlanta. Brooke is not only a Professional Vocalist, but she is also member of the Screen Actors Guild for her work as an Actress in Film and Television that started when she was just a child. She has extensive vocal and voice-over experience for television, as well. Some of her credits include being a 9-time STAR SEARCH Winner & Finalist, portraying the guitar-playing sultry blonde-bombshell “Kitten” on the Cartoon Network’s COURAGE THE DOG, having her vocals waft through the courtroom in THE DISTRICT on CBS and a being a featured vocalist for numerous episodes of YOUNG AMERICANS on the WB Network (CW) starring Kate Bosworth.(which highlighted some of Brooke's original music, as well. "YA" is still in syndication around the globe.) Lundy was a Nashville Staff-writer for 5 years, which lead to now being a Published Songwriter through the Music Sales Corp. (NY, LA, Nashville, Germany). She is proud member of ASCAP as both a Writer and as a Music Publisher (Newville Music Group).
While living in LA, Phil Spector (legendary and now infamous Producer who created the Wall-Of-Sound) heard and signed Brooke to a production and recording contract. Brooke & Mr. Spector went on to work together on the pre-production of Brooke's solo album which was to feature many of Brooke's original songs. Brooke has recently appeared on Court TV’s “Open Court” to discuss her inspirational time working with Phil before the events that lead to his Murder Trial.
She has not let that situation deter her from progressing on her own. After recently being hired as a Producer and Vocal Arranger for other artists and Indie-Film soundtracks, she is now ready to take on the Producer's seat for herself, armed with some new songs and a creative vision for the music she loves to create.
After being cast in the touring company of the Off-Broadway hit, "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" Brooke relocated to New York City in late 2004. She has toured Professionally as Backup Singer, works regularly as a Session and Live Vocalist for Publishing & Production Companies, Jingle Houses and Event Band Agencies.
Brooke also wanted a way to bring New York and Nashville Songwriters together in a night of live/original music, so she created the now-successful “New York-meets-Nashville” writer’s night that she hosts in the East Village called “The Newville Sessions”.
Brooke enjoyed playing her own original music in clubs around the city with the fantastic collection of well-known NYC musicians that made up the East Coast-based "Brooke Lundy Band" & she is looking forward to the possibilities in her new home of Los Angeles, CA. .
"I've never been so excited to Produce an act since I saw Tina Turner perform for the first time."-Phil Spector
