Brett Harris has come a long way from days singing into a hand-me-down tape recorder in his basement. In late 2007 the Durham singer-songwriter emerged with a collection of songs and began playing throughout the region. With Yesterday's News, his self- released first EP (2008), Brett showcased his versatility as a musician as well as a songwriter, playing every instrument himself. In October of 2008 Brett released Side Two, a four song collection recorded live with a band. Side Two is a vibrant and eclectic mix that reveals an artist growing rapidly in ability and further defining a style and sound that is all his own.
