Bossa Nova Project is a band located in Vilnius, Lithuania, a country with a great music tradition. Each band member comes with a different musical background.The project started as a collaboration between Anna and Mihai and soon involved more people, mostly from Failte band.

Ana - the lead vocal of the band. Studied classical music (choir conducting and singing) in Saint-Peterburg and music management in Vilnius, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Manager of variuos classical music projects and organizations (PI "Impetus Musicus", PI "Banchetto Musicale"), director of the public institution "Operomanija" and Short opera festival NOA. Beside all mentioned, she is also part of the rock band Failte.

Mihai - coming from Romania, studied classical music graduated Music Academy from Cluj Napoca on trumpet and here, in the band, plays also guitar. More about him you can see here on his ReverbNation page www.reverbnation.com/mihaisorohan or his website www.mihaisorohan.net/.

Andrej - a very prolific bass player involved in many bands, playing a lot of music styles. He is also part of Failte rock band.

Jonas - in a constant search for self improovement, Jonas studies drums with A.Gotesmanas and A.Arslanow.Beside playing and teaching drums, he is also studying art photography. His current projects are Gud, Failte, Hippocrat and Bossa Nova Project. You can check his project on  www.myspace.com/gudas

Now the band focusses mainly on Latin music in Portuguese but also perform songs in English and original compositions in Lithuanian.
