Bio
BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a group of teen guys, ages 18-23, from Hooksett, New Hampshire who started jamming in a basement for something fun to do in their spare time back in November, 2005.
Frustrated with the lack of good punk music with positive messages and clean lyrics, they set out to create their own. After mastering some carefully selected cover songs to be sure they could even play well together, they started their hand at songwriting. A monthly open mic night was available at their Concord, NH church, so they showed up at every one to test out their music. The response was very positive and encouraged them to keep going.
In the winter of 2007, they won their annual high school Battle as a sophomore band (a first) and then a local Battle in town. These events started them into serious gigging. Word of mouth spread and by the end of 2007, they had 30 performances under their belts.
Their demo turned into an EP at the request of their growing fan base, and "Pacific Wasteland" was released in the summer of 2006. Work is progressing towards their first full-length CD with an anticipated release in 2009.
BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a band with a heart for their generation and a desire to positively influence their world. In March 2008, they repeated as school champs (again a first) and opened for ELEVENTYSEVEN and THE FOLD at Summer Kickoff on May 30, 2008 in Manchester, NH. In August, they participated in SoulFest, a gig won on OurStage.com. October 19, 2008 held a Manchester, NH performance with Gotee Records recording artist JOHN REUBEN at The Black Brimmer. November 13, 2008 brought a NH gig with Portland, Maine's national recording artists THE WRECKING.
BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a fun band to experience live with their catchy beats and high energy.

A little bit about us and how we got started....
"You guys ROCK!!!"
"You'll win Battle of the Bands at West for the next two years, too!"
"Totally awesome!"
"Amazing!"
These are the kinds of accolades heard by the band today, but two years ago, they thought nothing of such things....
BORDERLINE ELEVEN began in November, 2005, when 15-year-old friends Dan and Joe wanted to start a band for something fun to do in their spare time. They asked another friend, Andy, age 16, to join them. After working together for a while, they knew a key aspect was missing from their sound. Andy's older brother, Luke, age 21, was asked to jump on board, and the band was complete.
The guys tinkered around for a few months covering some popular songs and trying their hand at writing their own material. They started to play open mic nights at a local church, testing out songs and observing the response to their music. Everything was positive, and the church invited the band to play there whenever they wanted. This encouraged the guys to keep it going because they had a sound people liked.
Songwriting continued to flow, and by the end of 2006, they had 18 original songs and 6 covers. The guys produced their first six-song EP in the summer of 2006, "Pacific Wasteland". Their sound is punk rock with catchy beats and clean lyrics, and their influences are New Found Glory, Relient K, Hawk Nelson, and Switchfoot, among others. Local radio play has also begun, and their music can be heard on "The Revolution Show" weekend nights on 90.7 FM and 91.1/104.3 FM (NH).
