bONUS es el proyecto artistico del músico madrileño Jerónimo Macanás.
Despues de publicar en 2006 "la niña de las preuntas imposibles" (GN RECORDS) y en el 2008 "eXperiencias" (Sello Autor) actualmente bONUS trabaja en su tercer larga duración donde ejerce además de músico y compositor como productor artitico del nuevo y esperado album.
About
eXperiencias is the second LP by bonus, musician Jerónimo Macanás´musical project. With the challenge to exceed, both at the creative level
as well as the media,his first album "La niña de las preguntas imposibles", and his two EP´s "la balada inolvidable" and "Remixes Imposibles".
This group of songs, or better said eXperiencias, sees the light as his second musical delivery in LP format.
Jerónimo Macanás takes another step forward as composer with eXperiencias. Even though his new songs maintain and re-enforce the
characteristic bonus sound and the style of British pop and rock sung in Spanish from the first recording, at the same time all is bathed with
a relevant combination of evolutionary spontaneity, maturity and accessibility.
There are practically no two songs in the recording that have been written in the same city. London, San Diego, Barcelona, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Madrid, Stuttgart or Mallorca, are some of the scenes of these eXperiencies, mainly composed on the same sky, on airplanes that
flew somewhere, where loneliness amongst the masses who feel they are strolling over "the summit of the nothingness", makes creative art more
sincere and impulsive.
eXperiencias supports all its strength on the songs Jerónimo Macanás captures on his strolls through the sky, songs such as "AAA", direct first
cut of the disc, which with a relevant conjunction of melody, strength and elegance, self-proclaims an authentic hit and anthem of the disc;
the rotund "Alto", that effectively finds a sound of the highest voltage, or ballads such as "Emociones" or "Hoy te vuelvo a extrañar", with which
bOnus has managed to make itself even closer and return to that precept that says, from music we must not understand,
but that music must be felt.
The words of the CD are the perfect travel companion. That stranger who sits by your side when you travel alone, and, in a language that
sometimes has poetic overtones, or sometimes speaks to you one to one, tells you his eXperiences of a happy re-encounter, abandonment,
lack of love, sadness and so on, until completing the ten travel points of this disc.
The maturity of its compositions, is accompanied by an impecable production, worthy of consecrated artists. Produced again by Josh Tampico
and once more mastered by the brilliant Sean Magge ( Coldplay, Placebo or Franz Ferdinand amongst others), in the Abbey Road Studios (London).
In the recording, musicians of the quality of Vicente Climent, amongst others, have participated.
Definitely, ten songs of undisputed quality, which consolidate bonus as one of the projects of pop and rock with most projection
in the national music scene.
