Bio: Bonar is a fingerstyle guitarist and singer/songwriter, based in Gibsons , BC, who performs solo, but is sometimes mistaken for a duo.

In addition to numerous original songs, he features a fun and eclectic repertoire ranging from Mississippi John Hurt to Macy Gray, from Jobim to John Fahey.

A: Tough question. Many influences & inspirations. Cab Calloway, Pete Seeger, Missisppi John Hurt, T Bone Walker, Chuck Berry, Dick Dale, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Chet Baker, Burt Bacharach, Gordon Lightfoot, Glen Campbell, John Hartford, Willie Nelson. There are more - that's just the top of my head. Sorry to take so long responding! b.
