His shows are known for deep Blues, a wide variety of Blues-based styles, and a friendly good time for his audiences. From 1973-1980, Bob played guitar in the band of Chicago Blues legend Muddy Waters, touring worldwide and recording, and learning to play Muddy's powerful music directly from him. He appears beside Muddy with The Band in the 1978 legendary music film The Last Waltz. In 1980, Bob started his own band. He has won Blues Music Awards for Guitar in 2005 and 2008. Touring full-time today, Bob works with flexible groups of fine musicians, including The Bob Margolin Blues Band and The VizzTone Blues Revue a flexible revue of artists from the VizzTone Label Group. In 2011, they headlined Blues festivals with Matt Hill (winner 2011 BMA for Best New Artist Debut), Gaye Adegbalola, and Mac Arnold.

Bob played guitar in Muddy Waters’ band from 1973-’80. He delivers exciting Blues guitar and an entertaining, friendly stage presence. In 2013, Bob was nominated for The Blues Foundation’s Blues Music Award for Traditional Male Blues Artist. He has won Blues Music Awards for guitar in 2008 and 2005. Bob is a founding partner in The VizzTone Label Group, on the Board of Directors of The Pinetop Perkins Foundation, leads workshops worldwide in Blues Guitar. He received the 2013 Keeping the Blues Alive Award for Journalism, appreciating his 20 years writing for Blues Revue. In 2011, his eBook Steady Rollin’ was published. Harmonica ace Bob Corritore has been playing harmonica since age 13. Growing up in blues heartland of Chicago, he was able to see Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Big Walter Horton while still a teen and from these traditions he has formed his pure blues sound. Over the last few years Corritore's stature has grown and he is now considered to be among the top harmonica players on the scene. He has performed and recorded with the who's who of the world's greatest blues artists. He won a 2011 Blues Music Award for his album "Harmonica Blues" and the 2012 Living Blues Award for "Best Blues Harmonica Player." Bob Corritore and Bob Margolin have collaborated for over 20 years now and their amazing musical chemistry will be showcased on December 6 at Bisciuts & Blues!
