I wrote this song about a rascal married to a home schooled straight laced church girl. She would't let him smoke in the house even if it was raining. His pals,which she called his "hoodlum friends" weren't allowed in the house either, but instead had to stand out in the yard to visit our rascal. Drinking was done on the sly out in the barn.
