Bio
The Blushin’ Roulettes deliver old-time tunes with a modern twist rooted in feminine perspective.
Songwriter/guitarist Angela Rose belts her sweet, sultry tunes of damsels in their bliss and distress in a warbling vibrato. Kate Stone adds smooth vocal harmonies, plucking and bowing her cello.
Add the tasty guitar licks of the legendary Buddy Stubbs (who's shared the stage with Neil Young and the Byrds), the rhythms of drummer boy Jubal Stedman, and the soulful touch of Luke Stone (brother to Kate) on the ticklish ivories and you have the sound captured on the Roulettes debut March Sketch. Their latest release, "Took to the Country" reflects the growth of the band with Cas Sochacki on lap steel and jawharp
