Blind Theory was originally formed in early 2003 by the former drummer from the locally successful original band, FALLEN.  Originally a 4 piece, the band headed out and played tirelessly, focusing on PA's local and regional music scene to build their fanbase.  Blind Theory took some time off in late 2004 to focus on other aspects of their lives. "We were playing so heavily that it was hard to make much time for family...Or for that matter, to really discuss our direction and intention as a band."

The band started playing live again in early 2005, with a brand new sense of creativity and direction.  After 2 line up changes during that same year, B.T. found lead guitarist Boyd Newman.  "We were still a four piece when I joined the group, but something was missing..." Boyd remarked.  "We were writing songs with multiple guitar tracks, and there was no way we could reproduce it live." 

"Kurt and I played on a project during [Blind Theory's] break in 2004 called Five Locks.  Kurt is a great guitarist, and we decided to bring him into B.T." Eric added.  "It was such a great opportunity too.  We had just started recording our EP and Kurt brought so much to the table." 

2006 marked the beginning of recording for Blind Theory's latest EP, "Years" (Available Now). 

Recent additions to the band include bassist Dan White and second vocalist Jesse Keim to round out the current (2008) line-up. 

Blind Theory has shared the stage with many national, regional, and local acts such as Sponge, Seven Mary Three, Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms, Negative Space, and Emily's Toybox just to name a few.
