“(Excerpt) The first Friday after Halloween, it was almost too cold to go out, but Black Robot was playing the Viper Room and they are just too good to miss. To sweeten the deal, Jeremy Aric (Run Devil Run) was making his debut as their lead singer. Opening with the gorgeous “Staring at the Sun,” following up with “Baddass” and “El Camino,” Black Robot was off and running with a Metal Blues that would make Led Zeppelin proud. Aric was in fine voice with a polished range, precision control and that perfect shimmy shake that made the pretty picture match the sound.
