"Blackbow is a hard-driving blues-based rock n' roll band led by 20-year-old rockers Judas Gates, brothers Fefe Merea and Ringo Merea. Who are currently recording Blackbow's self-produced debut album to come out December 1st 2008.
What makes them stand out from the crowd are their versatile compositions. At times, Blackbow can sound intense, harsh and cynical like in songs such as "Motor Gun Blues", "Doll" or "Mad Dog", while at other times it can be warm, laid-back, theatrical and mellow like in "Raise A Pig", "Ladies Of The Season" or the acoustic track "Mushrooms".
No matter the song genre, style or form, there are always real emotions behind everyone of them, and you can actually feel them. That's what makes Blackbow so exciting for me."
