What makes them stand out from the crowd are their versatile compositions. At times, Blackbow can sound intense, harsh and cynical like in songs such as "Motor Gun Blues", "Doll" or "Mad Dog", while at other times it can be warm, laid-back, theatrical and mellow like in "Raise A Pig", "Ladies Of The Season" or the acoustic track "Mushrooms".
