Q: bill, I know this album is more "blues " oriented. what made you go in that direction for this one.
A: Thanks for asking! I'm tempted to say "I only know three chords," but that would be an insult to blues players everywhere. Good blues is a very complex business. Blues has been a part of my music for decades, and a part of American music for much longer. The new album, Blues for Lost Dreams, is the most coherent one we've recorded, in the sense that there's a consistent theme for listeners. I'm very proud of the arrangements and the playing; we have the best band I know! -- Bill
