Benoir is a Long Island based guitarist and singer. He has toured with Pharaoh's Daughter, Tribe of Djembe, Kema Jamal, Dub Affair, the Suffering Blues Band, as well as his current incarnation "Dreamer Cult". His Studio Music / Jazz degree (U of M '95) influences his blues/rock playing, as well as his songwriting. Combining elements from conscious music artists and jam bands, his concerts are filled with high energy improv, raunchy blues, fat grooves, and flamenco-tinged solos. Songs like...

Wow, the Summer of 2011 was AMAZING. I played the Whale's Tale every Sunday and almost every other Friday. I had weekly gigs at Bahia, and Caffe Laguna. Then Quicksilver came to close out the summer and the hurricane somehow cancelled all the major acts, so us locals pulled together and rocked the Riverside Beach mobile stage and Arts In the Pla...
