About Us
The Liverpool band of the family of Batala was founded in March 2005 by Stephen Murray and Ritchie Tunstall, with the first rehearsals being held at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

Like all of the bands in the Batala family, Liverpool Batala is self funding, with our income coming from members and the proceeds of performances.
