Q: Lute is not as commonly played these days compared to some other instruments. What led you to get involved with the instrument?
A: The inspiration came from studying Renaissance and Baroque music in which the scores made more sense on lute and fit so much better than on classical guitar. Also the sonority is uniquely appealing. But since we are living in the modern era, we have much love for the music forms of our time. This is what lead to the creation of Ayreheart.
