  A benefit concert will be held on June 1st at Killmeyer's to raise money and awareness for Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). Doors open at 3 PM. The admission is $25 for adults and children under 12 years of age get in for free. Performing at this year's event are: Staten Island Rockers 4 Relief - "Call all your Angels" That Confounded Bridge Robert Mirra The Kitchen Relic Scottish Widows Maiden NY No More Tears Daphne & the Sock Monkeys Light up the Sky Atomic Krush Joyous Noise Alive The money raised will assist Shriners Hospital for Children and AMCSI that provide medical and support services to children, adults and families affected by AMC. As someone born with AMC, I have been fortunate to be able to live a very independent because of the support of my family and friends. Over the last few years, I've learned that many children and sometimes adults have been misdiagnosed because AMC is such a rare condition. My mission is clear, I want to make sure that all children receive the needed medical and support services so that they live a healthy and fulfilled life. I encourage all my friends on Facebook and beyond to pass this event on to everyone you know. There will be fabulous musicians volunteering their time, raffles, a 50/50, face painting and more. I'm counting on all of you to make this event something you can tell your children and grandchildren about and put Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita on the map. By attending the benefit you can make this happen. I'm deeply grateful to all the musicians and volunteers for their hard work to make sure that my dream of making Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita a household name come true.
