ASNIDA BTE DAUD
A teacher by profession and a multi talented personality to take note of. At a young age, she had already won many awards in national competitions and had also represented Singapore in International singing festivals and competitions like 1996 Asia Song Festival(Bali) and Asian Laser Karaoke Grand Finals(HK).
She has made countless TV and radio and stage appearances as a singer, presenter, actress and now focusing more of her works behind the camera as a scriptwriter for Info –ed & children’s programme and lyricists for artistes like Ning Baizura, Najip Ali, Lynn, Zureen, Azrina, Ustaz Sofyan, B.A.R.B & Kaleidoscopicuriousity.
Asnida believes staying relevant in the media industry is by the traditional way of working hard and maintaining strong network both in her profession and her passion. And that’s her formula for being in the scene for 17 years.
She never shy away from back up vocals assignments for upcoming and well known artistes like Najip Ali & Taufik Batisah. Slowly but surely she is making a comeback to the frontline again.
