Formed in early 2010, Nevermind the Darkness has quickly established themselves as one of Texas' premier up and coming rock bands. With performances in various cities at a variety of venues, using the internet to help fuel the fire.

Front and center, the vocal stylings of Trica Weaver provide high emotion, creative melodies and relevant lyric content. Tethered to her dauntless, energetic stage presence, she is a powerhouse performer captivating audiences every time.

The diverse, yet complimenting guitar tandem, featuring Gene Grinolds and John Smith, give NtD a guitar driven sound, complete with solid rhythms, plenty of texture, melodic riffs, harmony and the occasional duel solo.

The rhythm section, comprised of Eric Sipe on drums and Ben Bachman on bass, lend more than a simple backbone/foundation to NtD's music. Eric's tasty, well thought out beats and dynamic sensabilites along with his passion for live performances set the tone for NtD's music and shows. Most recently added bassist, Ben, and his "in the pocket" grooves, texturizing riffs and runs, together with his "I'm here to rock you!" stage persona was just what the band needed to round out the lineup.

With plenty of live performances, credit on two films, and a full length album in the works, momentum is constantly gaining strength. Nevermind the Darkness has grown into something bigger than just a band...five individuals with a common thread, hoping through music and relatable lyrics, to positively impact, influence and inspire their audience.

In January 2012 the MTV3 Maxima Distorzion Music Awards were held in Ft. Worth, TX. Nevermind the Darkness won Best Alternative Lead Female Vocalist, Best Alternative Rock Band, Best Progressive Metal Guitars and were nominated in three other categories, including Texas' Best Hard Rock Band, Best Lead Female Hard Rock Vocal and Best Rock Bass Player.

Nevermind the Darkness recently finished recording their first EP with producer Sterling Winfield which will be released in early 2013.
