Pamelita & Parker (aka Pam Mark Hall and Jerry Chamberlain) are two celebrated music veterans with separate careers now coming together, drawing from their broad-life and musical resources and experiences. Their eclectic style is full of stylistic surprises, but best described as a mélange of "bluesy-folk-pop-rock." Pamelita's soulful, sensuous vocals, rhythm guitar and keyboards compliment Parker's impassioned, sculpted acoustic and electric lead guitars and vocals.
Pamelita & Parker's distinctive sound is a spicy and flavorful blend of original songs and baby-boomer favorites. “We call it ‘big kitchen music,’” Pamelita says with a laugh. “Because love needs a 'big kitchen' as a gathering place for friends from diverse backgrounds to share histories and cultures - like mixing a savory combination of flavors for new renditions of comfort food. That’s what Pamelita & Parker is about—combining our eclectic lives and musical backgrounds for something welcoming, unique, flavorful and satisfying that continues to speak to the interests and concerns of our generation."
Chamberlain is recognized by fans and critics as a guitar hero, best known for pushing the boundaries of alternative, rock and melodic pop in the California bands Daniel Amos (DA) and the Swirling Eddies; Pam Mark Hall is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter whose probing lyrics and adventurous arrangements situated her at the forefront of early CCM as well as thought-provoking, genre-defying folk-pop music.
