Among an overwhelming field of percussionists exists well-versed drummer Tony Mason. Initially self-taught by his passion, Mason enlisted in formal education to fine-tune his inherent skill. Bit by the groove bug at an early age, Mason turned to the drums and never turned back. The Birmingham, AL native followed the beat north for his first touring gig with a Rock cover band and has travelled extensively from coast to coast touring all over the U.S including Canada and Alaska.
In that time Tony has come full circle performing with many bands and artists. He currently resides as a top call independent drummer for studio and live situations. You can also find Tony drumming with Eric Lee Beddingfield and Jesse Keith Whitley, son of country legends Lorrie Morgan and the late Keith Whitley. When Eric and Jesse aren’t on the road, you may find Tony touring the Southeast with a variety of regional rock bands.

Eric Lee Beddingfield Project:
In 2008 Tony joined country music powerhouse Eric Lee Beddingfield, who was named the 2007 Breakout Artist by Music Row and New Country Weekly’s Top 10 New Artists to watch of 2008.
• Tony and Beddingfield enjoyed chart and touring success with the release Beddingfields self titled album produced by one of Nashville’s top producers Kent Wells, and featured a Dolly Parton and Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd) cameo.
• In 2010/2011 Tony played drums on Beddingfields second full album “This Life Ain’t for Everybody” which has received numerous awards and chart topping songs.
• Named MusicRow Magazine’s Independent Artist of the year for 2012
The singles, “The Gospel According To Jones” at #23 and “Great Depression” at #18, gave ELB the two highest charting singles for a true independent artist for the year and only the 3rd time in the history of the MusicRow chart that an Independent artist has broken the top 20.
• “The Gospel According To Jones”
The video was added to rotation by CMT, GAC and TCN. The success of this song led to the invitation to perform at The Grand Ol’ Opry for George Jones 80th Birthday party. This performance was filmed for a national television audience.
• Billboard Magazine
Named ELB as one of artists to watch for 2012, calling him “one of the format’s fastest rising stars”. Also named “The Gospel According To Jones” as one of the top singles of the year.
Signed an endorsement deal with Bud-Light and will be touring extensively this year as part of the Bud light True Music Tour.
Splendid Chaos Project:

•Tony and Splendid Chaos also garnered a three-year opening slot on the Jagermeister Music Tour, which have included renowned rockers, The Cult along with Staind, Alter Bridge and Three Days Grace and were also featured on the 2007 Jager Music compilation CD.
