Kitty in a Casket is an Austrian punk-rock/rockabilly band from Vienna formed in 2008. The band consists of vocalist Kitty Casket, guitarists Billy the Bat and Todd Flash, bassist Tom Mooner and drummer Mike Mean Machine. The band released their first full-length studio album "Horror Express" in 2009 on Crazy Love Records, followed by their four track sold-out EP "HalloWien" soon after. In 2011 they signed with record label Wolverine Records and released their latest album "Back to Thrill" that same summer. The band is currently working on their third studio album scheduled for release sometime in 2013. A split-EP has also been planned for release in the near future.
Kitty in a Casket have been touring around Europe in support of their albums playing club shows and major festivals such as the "WGT - Wave Gotik Treffen" and "Back to Future" in Germany, "Psychobilly Meeting" in Spain, "Fiesta du Rock" and "Sjock" in Belgium, "Warhead Fest" in Poland, "Club Sin" in Finland and "Pod Parou" in the Czech Republic, to name a few. They have also shared the stage with "The Exploited", "The Other", "Dead Kennedys", "Guana Batz" and many more.
BITTERSWEET is the third studio album by Kitty in a Casket with guest artists like Nim Vind (Nim Vind, Vocals), Ash Ghoulmore (Kreepsville 666, Vocals), Stuart Osborne (Guana Batz, Guitar) and Marc van Dank (ex-KiaC). The band still manage to keep their double-bass tradition and in-your-face punk sound.
