Smooth.T attended Alpha Boys School in Kingston Jamaica, where his love for music was born.There he joined the Alpha Boys Band, learned drums and also joined the choir.

While still in school on his summer breaks, Smooth.T ,played and performed with some of Turks and Caicos best bands.

After graduating Alpha Boys School, Smooth T left Jamaica and moved back to the Turks and Caicos Islands and got a job as a radio disc jockey and personality for W.P.R.T 88.7fm.

In 1998 Smooth T auditioned and got a job as a cabaret performer at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa,where he entertained guest for the next four years,before leaving to migrate to the U.S for the next two years.

On his return Smooth.T recorded a string of hits locally including Heathen Run,Bad Woman and a remake of Neyo's 'You should let me love you' in lovers rock reggae. During this time he also joined Turks and Caicos hottest band Shocking Vybz ,house band at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa as a vocalist/drummer.

Smooth.T spent the next four years performing for audiences through out the islands, opening for many acts such as Gregory Isaacs,Morgan Heritage,Buju Banton Byron Lee and many more.

Smooth T continues to strive towards his musical goals releasing two music videos in 2013, The first one which reached all the way to the #2 spot on Tempo's Cross Caribbean Countdown, setting a new mark as the first artist from the Turks and Caicos Islands to chart throughout the Caribbean against some of the best the Caribbean has to offer.
