Sweet Scarlett began in 2011, with several members from the cover band "Your Alibi". In response to the demand from more intimate venues, Sweet Scarlett sought to provide a scaled-down, yet equally-dynamic alternative to the full-band sound. Thick with harmonies and broad in variety, Sweet Scarlett's musical palette is seasoned with classic rock, powerful ballads, and intriguing twists on familiar tunes. Lead vocalist Lindsey Stopa is hauntingly spot-on with her renditions of Stevie Nicks and Jewel and brings an irresistible emotion and stage presence to every performance. Guitarist Dan Myers proves that no genre is safe from his nimble fingers, sliding over six strings like hot butter. Catch this guy on "Mary Jane's Last Dance" as he takes the lead, the strings and rocks the harmonica, and you'll see why he's an unstoppable musical force. Bassist Eric Hunter brings that mellow vibe that makes people want to just stop and listen. Hunter weaves bass lines that are simultaneously strong in creativity and simplicity, and brings harmonies that are a perfect blend to Stopa and Myers's voices.
