Country Trash / Bio
The 6 piece Americana band Country Trash formed late 2008 in Sonora, CA.
The group spent their first year writing songs and playing the occasional rowdy show at local bars. By 2010, they were performing throughout northern CA and made a second home in Santa Cruz.
After two years of establishing themselves in the area, the band relocated to the pacific northwest, and settled in Portland, OR. They then re-tooled with two new members, and began writing again. In late 2012, Country Trash headed to Seattle, WA to record a four song e.p. to be released early '13 with Chicago-based Go Forth Records; to be followed by a full length the same year.
Blending floor stomping rhythms, blazing guitar leads, and some banjo twang, Country Trash brings a contagious amount of energy to any room. Whether you know the songs by heart, or it's your first time, you'll find yourself
singing, drinking, and dancing right along with them.
