It appears that all is not lost in the fickle world of Rock 'n Roll. In 2010, a charismatic group of musicians arose from the small college town of Auburn, Alabama. After two years of delivering high-octane live performances of blues, jam, and rock across the Southeast, The Bama Gamblers, or simply "The Gamblers," have developed an overwhelming number of followers. With roots ranging from Atlanta, Georgia, to Huntsville, Alabama, this energetic five-piece seems to have the best of both worlds with "southern soul" and "big-city blues.” They have shared a stage with artists such as American Aquarium, Casey Donahew Band, Blackberry Smoke, Tony Brook, Benjy Davis, Jason Isbell, and North Mississippi Allstars. After leaving a lasting impression at the 2011 Birmingham Arts and Music Festival, The Gamblers began a schedule wich included shows in Nashville, Atlanta, Athens, Birmingham, Hattiesburg, Gulf Shores, Tuscaloosa, and Baton Rouge. With the new EP in the final wraps, and a few new faces in the line-up, the Gamblers have matured into a strong, free-wheeling, southern rock act that is hard to follow.
