Truett Lollis - Guitar/Vocals
Born the only son of a railroad man in Cobb County, Georgia on Robert Johnson's birthday; he grew up on a steady diet of southern rock and blues. Young Truett picked up a guitar at age 12 and was soon schooling his instructor on vintage blues licks from his major influences, Albert King, Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the likes. He is now the hottest young guitar slinger in Marietta Ga! Truett is only 22, but an "old soul" when it comes to blues. He writes and sings as well as he plays the guitar and has the distinctive ability to infuse his audience with the soulfulness that makes him an entertaining performer as well. He easily appeals to audiences, young and old.
John McKnight - Drums
John started drumming at 7 and singing behind the kit at 15. Has been playing professionally now for 31 years, and has recorded on 50 cd's to date. He takes what he does very seriously and when you watch him you'll see and hear for yourself that he pours his heart into every performance. He's played and recorded with Dangerous Dan Toler (ABB and Great Southern), John Townsend (Sanford Townsend Band, Toler Townsend Band) Jimmy and Jack Hall (Wet Willie) George McCorkle, Marcus James Henderson and Chris Hicks (Marshall Tucker Band), Forrest McDonald, E.G Kight, Delta Moon, Ike Stubblefield, Oliver Wood (King Johnson, Wood Brothers), Fiona Boyes (Australia), Hughie Thomasson (The Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd) and many more.
Jonathan Norwood - Bass/Vocals
Jonathan is classically trained, beginning on upright bass in the middle school orchestra. As he turned to electric bass, he was influenced by the jazz & R&B artists like Jaco Pastorious, Stanley Clarke and Nathan East, as well as the more melodic pop stylings of Paul McCartney. He turned to the blues when he met Truett Lollis and they formed an instant bond, quickly learning standard blues tunes and adding their own flair. They also discovered their voices harmonized well and they have become songwriting partners. Jonny attributes his unique style to his ability to listen to the other musicians.
