The inception of this music project was called Pomegranade, which began with the Pigeons EP, recorded by Josh Bratcher in January of 2006. In 2007, Pomegranade became Artemis & the Olympians. During this incarnation, Artemis collaborated with C L. "Poseidon" Covington of Durham, NC. Artemis then decided to change the name to Artemis Jamison, since it was essentially her solo project.
