Ask Art Bell anything...
Q: Where can I find out when/where you are performing? I'd love to see me some Art Bell! Gayle (Holton Walker) Webber
A: If you would send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, I will personally make sure you are notified ahead of time when I'll be out performing in public. I generally only allow "Art Bell Band" to be booked a few times a year. My producing activities keep me quite busy these days and I'm not able to perform live with my full band as often as I would personally like. But as it turns out, I actually play in front of folks quite often. Many of my live performances are completely spontaneous and unplanned in advance. I've played three times this week already and am invited again tomorrow night as well. More and more often when I attend a live show to do audio and video production work, I am invited to "sit in" with the folks who actually booked the gig. One can't simply say "No thanks" (that would be impolite), so I always have my guitar rig with me and generally get up to do a couple of tunes. It is always humbling to be asked to "take the stage" in front of an audience who are already warmed up, and getting my "fifteen minutes of fame." <big smile> I am very flattered at your asking ma'am. And I'll make sure you will know where I'll be and when. Please be sure to get my attention at the gigs and I'll look forward to seeing you in person. Respect, /art
